Biography

I've spent the last fifteen years working at various startup companies, including my own, managing product development, business development, operations and the raising of capital. Currently, I'm in charge of product management at imeem. Prior to imeem I was Director of Professional Products at Six Apart. Before Six Apart, I was CEO and co-founder of Ruby Networks. I also led business development at eGroups (now Yahoo Groups), and consulted at major European telecommunications companies including KPN, 1&1 Online Services, Telenor and Teleport. Earlier, I held a variety of positions in marketing, business development and product development at Wired Digital and International Data Group (IDG). I began my business career in 1990 at Savi Technology, Inc., a high-tech startup in Palo Alto.

I am a co-founder of Bulgarian Children's Health Foundation, a not for profit organization that collects donations for the prevention and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity. This is a condition that affects 25% of prematurely born children in Bulgaria, leading to partial or complete blindness unless treated soon after birth.
